
Renewal of the agreement with the Trinitario Casanova Foundation for the project "Strengthening personal skills in child victims of domestic violence through animal-assisted therapy in the natural environment".
Description / Aims: The project aims to improve the psychological attention offered to children exposed to domestic violence (TUTELADOS) and exposed to gender violence), complementing traditional psychological interventions focused on psychopathological aspects, with assisted therapy with horses in the environment, known as "Hippotherapy".
Through this equine therapy we work from basic attentional processes such as attention, perception and memory to emotional-behavioral ones such as self-esteem, social skills, self-control, problem solving, strategic planning, self-instruction, etc.
