A psychological Intervention service children of women victims of gender violence.
Description / Aims: This service's main aim is to offer psychological support to children of women victims of gender violence with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances.
By specific psychological assessment the psychological and family conditions where the minor resides are determined, and psychological treatment is performed aiming to improve psychopathological indicators and strengthen the personal resources necessary for adequate adaptation. Furthermore, counseling is provided to those involved in the development of the child such as mothers, family members, teachers and other professionals.
